About the route
The Bay Bridge Bike Shuttle offers a way for cyclists to cross the bay during the weekday peak hours since the Bay Bridge West Span is closed to cyclists. Place your bicycle on the trailer and board the van, paying a $1.00 one-way fare to the driver. The shuttle can carry a maximum of 14 bikes and passengers. Cyclists can also board with their bicycles on BART or AC Transit between Oakland and San Francisco, or ride over the East Span to Treasure Island and take a bus or ferry from there with their bicycles.
