From Transit.Wiki
Allegheny - South Hills Village via Overbrook

Schedules

Service runs every 12 minutes or less during weekday peak hours, every 15 minutes midday, and every 30 minutes at night and weekends.

Rides are free between all downtown stations from Allegheny and First Avenue. From Station Square and other stops further south, fare is collected when boarding inbound (to downtown) trains and when exiting outbound (away from downtown) trains.

At most stops, pay fare or tap ConnectCard/ConnecTix at the farebox located behind the train operator. At selected stops, pay fare or tap card at the fare booth on the platform if it is open, otherwise pay or tap card at farebox.

Request stop by pushing button for stops outside the free fare zone.

Doors on the 2nd car will not open for boarding or exiting at stations that don't have high-level platforms and where fare booth is not open. Passengers must be on the first car and use the front door to the right of the train operator.
