About the route

Route 2, along with Route 1, offers frequent service between Downtown Santa Cruz and Watsonville. Route 2 travels along Water Street and Capitola Road to Capitola Mall, then continues on 41st Ave and Soquel Drive through Aptos to Freedom Blvd, where it takes SR-1 to Watsonville. In Watsonville, the route runs on Main Street. Select night 2N trips operate on Freedom Blvd, serving most of Route 73 stops.
