Sound Transit ticket machine
Ticket machines are available at Sound Transit rail station (except Tacoma Link stations, which is free to ride) and selected transit centers. They may be located on the platforms or at the stairways leading to the platforms.
Ticket machines sell:
- One way ticket
- Day pass
- New ORCA card
Ticket machines can also add pass products or e-cash values onto existing ORCA cards.
Ticket machines accept:
- Cash (change provided)
- Credit/debit cards
Passengers must have a valid ticket or pass when riding the Sound Transit trains. Passengers with ORCA card need to tag the card at a reader before boarding and after exiting.
