📣 As the U.S. is recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, many transit agencies may continue to have reduced or suspended service. Route information on this site may not reflect all COVID-19 related service changes. Check Twitter feeds for transit agencies for current service updates prior to travel. CDC recommends riders to wear face covering or mask on public transportation.

First!

Hello, I made various changes pertaining to MUNI, so I hope you don't mind. Also, can I please have the ability to move pages? That would be appreciated, thanks! ~ Username42023. 22:07, 6 June 2022 (PDT)

P.S. if you don't mind adding this link to the sidebar that'll also be appreciated as well. Thank you! 22:22, 6 June 2022 (PDT)
The recent changes link has been added to sidebar. Andy (talk) 23:57, 6 June 2022 (PDT)
You should also be able to move pages. Please let me know first if you want to move many pages (like changing format or something like that). Andy (talk) 00:10, 7 June 2022 (PDT)
Yeah, sorry for telling you this after but I made 6 total page moves with one being an accidental mistake. So I apologize for that. I'll perform more page moving in the near-future as it really isn't on my top priorities right now. But in other news, I'm in the process of revamping the muni nav template to purify and update it, so I hope you don't mind. Thank you! ~ Username42023. 17:45, 7 June 2022 (PDT)
Don't worry about it (I mean "many" as in 20+ of the same kind, sometimes 50 to 100). BTW, the wiki can display pictures/files that are on Wikimedia Commons, which is used by Wikipedia. So there's no need to reupload things like BSicons. You just of a file that has the same name on Wikimedia Commons and it should show. .svg is a preferred format for icons over .png because it is vector format.
Example:
BSicon Bus-CHN.svg
BSicon Bus-CHN.svg
Source file: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:BSicon_Bus-CHN.svg

Well, I guess you're right after all. With that being said, maybe delete these two files now that I know. ~ Username42023. 21:33, 7 June 2022 (PDT)

Changes to MUNI content

So I'm making big changes to the MUNI pages starting today. However, I already made changes to List of San Francisco Municipal Railway lines before announcing this, though changes are not done. I will eventually write all details on my user page. I hope you don't mind, thanks! ~ Username42023. 21:58, 8 June 2022 (PDT)

As you may know, the standard bus route list is automatically generated, primarily for maintainability, as service changes overtime (All route changes are made on the route page, and rest will be automatically changed). I am concerned having to make manual changes on multiple pages and likelihood of outdated information remain somewhere. Andy (talk) 23:17, 8 June 2022 (PDT)
Also I notice that you removed capitalization of "Station" for some pages. The wiki always capitalized that word since 2008. Changing that is a wholesale change because the wiki covers far more than SF. I know that Wikipedia had a debate about it some years ago. If a wholesale change should go forward, I can make that happen very quickly without having you make individual page move. Andy (talk) 23:17, 8 June 2022 (PDT)
Of course, please! ~ Username42023. 14:10, 5 August 2022 (PDT)
Update: Well, I've come back, and decided to abandon the changes to list of San Francisco Muni bus routes, well because of what you said about the automatic generator thingy, which I should've just accepted and moved on. However, one thing I'm interested in about the wiki is improving its cleanliness, so I proposed a content organization project (specifically targeted toward MUNI-related articles) and you can be a part of it, if you'd like. I haven't made any details, yet. But I'm interested to hear your thoughts. ~ Username42023. 14:10, 5 August 2022 (PDT)

Template:Nosubst

I created this template and has the purpose of allowing signature templates, like mines, to have easier access to the signature field in the preferences page without being subst:. I also can try merging the template's content into my sig's page, somehow. ~ Username42023. 14:10, 5 August 2022 (PDT)

Also, please delete this page, as it's no longer needed. Thanks! 14:35, 5 August 2022 (PDT)
