About the route

Coastal Express is a series of routes numbered in the 80s, running between Ventura County and Santa Barbara County. The basic Route 80 operates between Ventura Government Center and Santa Barbara MTD Transit Center, offering midday, reverse commute, and weekend service. Other routes in the 80 series run during weekday peak hours commute trips from Camarillo, Oxnard, and Ventura to Santa Barbara and Goleta, each with different stopping patterns.
