April 24, 2017 Transit Service Changes
Valley Metro sought public comment from October 3 - November 4, 2016 on proposed service adjustments scheduled to take effect on April 24, 2017.
Summary of Changes
Routes 0, 1, 3, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 19, 27, 28, 29, 32, 35, 39, 41, 43, 44, 45, 50, 51, 52, 59, 60, 61, 67, 70, 75, 77, 80, 83, 90, 106, 122, 138, 154, 170 and 186
Expand service hours to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 p.m. on Sunday in Phoenix.
Route 39 – 40th Street North Phoenix
Extend route on Shea Blvd to serve SR 51/Shea Blvd (Dreamy Draw) Park-and-Ride.
Route 40 – Apache/Main
In Mesa, modify weekday short trips turnaround at Mesa Dr and Main St.
Route 50 – Camelback
In Scottsdale, expand service hours to 5 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on weekdays and 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. Also modify end-of-line turnaround at Scottsdale Rd.
Route 70 – 24th Street/Glendale Avenue
Modify route end-of-line at 24th St/Baseline Park-and-Ride.
Route 122 – Cactus
Extend route to terminate at 19th Ave/Dunlap. Also modify west end of route to terminate at ASU West Campus.
Notification: The $2 fee for purchasing fare on board the bus will be removed as of June 1, 2017.
