The Sunset Limited is a long distance Amtrak train service between New Orleans and Los Angeles with stops in Houston, San Antonio, and Tucson. Trains operate 3 days a week. In San Antonio, westbound Sunset Limited train is combined with Texas Eagle train from Chicago and continue to Los Angeles. Eastbound trains from Los Angeles are split at San Antonio and continue to Chicago (as Texas Eagle) and New Orleans.

Coach, dining, and sleeper cars are available. Reservation (seats are not to be overbooked) is required for this train.
