Bear Transit is a shuttle system for UC Berkeley. The shuttle takes students, employees and guests throughout the campus and to/from BART at Downtown Berkeley Station.

Bear Transit provides full service only when classes are in session. Limited service is provided during semester breaks.

Night Safety Shuttles

Operates approximately after 7:00pm until 2:00am or later.



Fares

Daytime routes: $1 one way (except line RFS), free for students, employees and retired faculty with valid University IDs.

Night Safety Shuttles: Free for everyone.
