Ferries

Two ferry terminals are located within walking distance from Pier 39.

• Pier 41 - to Tiburon, Sausalito, Vallejo, Oakland
• Pier 33 - to Alcatraz

Historic streetcar

F-Market & Wharves streetcar from Market Street stops right in front of Pier 39.

For the returning streetcar to the Ferry Building and Market Street, board at a stop on Beach Street and Stockton Street. It is just one block south of the Embarcadero past the parking garage. The Streetcar can be extremely crowded.
