Station entrances
The station can be accessed from either side of West Portal Ave with short ramps directly to the platforms. Crossing between platforms is possible at a level crossing in front of the station outside the fare gates and via a bridge with escalator access inside the fare gates.

Eight short blocks west at 19th ave is the 91-Owl in the directions of SFSU and The Marina District
