Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System (YARTS) provides regional bus service between Yosemite and cities outside the national park. Major cities include Merced, Fresno, Sonora, and Mammoth Lakes. Connection is available with bus, rail, and air:
Summer service: Sonora - Yosemite
Summer service: Mammoth Lakes - Yosemite
Merced - Mariposa - Yosemite National Park
Summer service: Fresno - Yosemite National Park
Bus - Yosemite Shuttle
Shuttle service is available within the park connecting parking lots, hotels, camp sites, and trailheads. Shuttle service is free.
Year round: Yosemite Valley
June - Oct: Valley Visit Ctr - El Capitan
December - March: Yosemite Valley - Badger Pass Ski Area
June - September: Tioga Pass - Tuolume Meadows
