Caltrain provides basic local and limited stop train service throughout the day between San Francisco and San Jose.
On weekdays, Caltrain runs local trains every half hour during early morning, midday, and late evening hours. Local trains serve nearly every stop between San Francisco and Tamien.
Caltrain operates limited stop and express trains during morning and afternoon rush hours.
On weekends, Caltrain runs half hourly local service, and serve every stop between San Francisco and Tamien except College Park Station.
