Flixbus is an express intercity bus carrier with multiple markets in the United States. Reservations and ticketing are done online via the website or mobile app. Flixbus operates on a contracting model where the company neither owns nor hires drivers but arranges with multiple charter bus companies to provide buses and drivers.

Flixbus purchased Greyhound in 2021. Both companies share the same schedule and reservation system but operate as separate brands, with Greyhound continuing to own buses and hire drivers. Some routes with duplicate services between Flixbus and Greyhound have been reduced to either exclusively Flixbus or Greyhound. In some cities, both brands share stops, while in others, they have separate stops. Flixbus also includes other independent carriers operating under their own brands in its schedule and reservation system.
