NCTD fares
NCTD fares can be paid with cash, PRONTO cards, or PRONTO Cloud 📱 app.
Coaster has separate (zone based) fares. Most Breeze and Sprinter tickets are not valid on Coaster except providing a $2 discount.

Monthly Regional youth pass - $23
Students enrolled in colleges in the NCTD service areas are eligible for discounted Breeze/Sprinter monthly passes. Sprinter trains use proof of payment system, which all riders must have a valid ticket before boarding the train.
Coaster
Coaster fares are charged according to zone traveled. Coaster trains also use proof of payment system. Coaster monthly passes are valid on other NCTD and MTS services.
