About the route

Seattle Center Monorail is an all-elevated monorail line between the downtown shopping district and the Seattle Center/Space Needle.

Service runs about every 10 minutes from 7:30am (weekdays)/ 8:30am (weekends) to 11pm. Cash fares can be paid at the station and it also accepts ORCA cards. At Westlake Center, monorail connects with Sound Transit Link light rail at the undergound Westlake Station and Seattle Streetcar on the street level.

One way fare is $4.00 for Adults, $2.00 for youth ages 5-12, seniors, disabled, and active military members. Monthly pass is available.

Station descriptions

  • Seattle Center - The monorail station is located next to the Space Needle in the center of the Seattle Center complex, with ramps from the park to the loading area.
  • Westlake - The elevated Monorail Station at Westlake can be accessed from the 3rd level of Westlake shopping center, with a street entrance (stairs and elevator) on 5th Ave and Pine Street. Direct elevator access to monorail is available from Link platform. Purchase ticket at the station and pass through faregates on platform level.
