AC Transit fares

AC Transit accepts cash and TransLink cards, as well as offers various passes.

Local and rapid routes

Transbay routes

Sale of paper Transbay tickets and passes will end on June 19, 2009 and they will not be accepted on buses by the end of August. 31-day pass will still be available on TransLink.

Transfers

Transfers are good for one use within 90 minutes.

Transfers between local buses costs 25 cents for all riders.

Transfers are free for transbay bus riders to another local bus. To transfer from a local bus to a transbay bus, pay the transbay fare on the first bus and receive a transfer good for the transbay bus.
