Lincoln Service is a state supported Amtrak service between Chicago and St. Louis with 4 round trips daily. Long distance Texas Eage train also operates on the same corridor with one round-trip daily.

Coach and business class are available on this route. Reservation (seats are not to be overbooked) is required for this train.

This corridor is part of the Illinois High Speed Rail program where, when various track, signal, station, and grade crossing improvements are completed, will allow trains to operate at 90 to 110 mph.
