The Pacific Surfliner is a regional Amtrak train service between San Luis Obispo, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Trains operate daily with departures every 1-3 hours between LA and San Diego.

The Surfliner runs on the same track as Coast Starlight between San Luis Obispo and Los Angeles. South of Los Angeles, the Surfliner runs on the same track as Metrolink and Coaster trains. The Surfliner makes more stops than the Coast Starlight and fewer stops than Metrolink and Coaster.

Only coach service is available.
