San Francisco Bay and San Pablo Bay are the most prominent geographic feature in the Bay Area. There are 8 toll bridges in the Bay Area. All the bridges only collect tolls one way. A $4 base toll is charged on all bridges except the Golden Gate Bridge, which is charged $6 cash and $5 with FasTrak.

Transit service is available on all toll bridges, but not all bridges allow bicycles and pedestrians.
