Bay Bikes

Bay Bikes is a bike sharing program for the City of San Mateo, covering Downtown San Mateo and areas near El Camino Real and Bay Meadows development. This is a separate bike sharing implementation with a different technology from the Bay Area Bike Share program used by other Bay Area cities. The main purpose of the bike sharing system is to enhance connection to and from transit with bicycles and facilitate short trips.

Bike share members can pick up a bicycle at designated bike share station and return at any bike share station. Monthly and hourly membership are available.
