Muni Metro
Lines K L M T and S stop at the undergound station. Line J stops on the surface of Church Street by Market.
Paying the fare
For underground trains, pay cash fare at the Muni faregates on the concourse level. The faregates only take $1 coins. Bill to coin changers are available at the station. Take the transfer from the faregate and keep it as proof of payment.
If you have a valid pass or transfer, enter at the faregate adjacent to the booth and show the attendant your pass or transfer.
For line J, pay the fare onboard by entering through the front door.
Boarding trains
The underground station features side platforms. See sign for destination before heading to the platform.
Outbound platform: K M to Balboa Park, L to SF Zoo
Downtown platform: L M to Embarcadero, T to Sunnydale
Muni Metro opens until about 1:00am.

Streetcars operate on the surface along Market Street and stops at boarding islands on Market St by Church St.
