El Monte Busway is consisted a set of carpool lanes and bus stations on Interstate 10 between Downtown LA and El Monte.

LA Metro and Foothill Transit use the transitway between downtown LA and their respective destinations. West of Union Station, buses travel on city streets in Downtown LA.

Buses on the El Monte Busway charge express fares. All fares are paid onboard like other buses.
