About the route

SB San Bernardino Line is a Metrolink route from San Bernardino to Los Angeles via Pomona Valley and San Gabriel Valley. It offers the most frequent service on the Metrolink system, operating all day, 7 days a week (excluding some holidays). Trains run every 20-30 minutes during peak hours in the peak direction and every 1-2 hours during off-peak periods. During peak hours, limited trains continue from San Bernardino to Redlands. At other times, service to Redlands is available by transferring to Arrow service.

The San Bernardino Line was one of the three lines launched by the agency in 1992, just one year after the agency was formed and two years after acquiring the right of way. In 2017, the line was extended from the San Bernardino Depot Station to Downtown.
