Ferry Building is a historic landmark for being the main gateway to San Francisco before opening of the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge. Ferry Building continues to be a major transit center with ferry service to the East Bay as well as the North Bay.

Today, the renovated facility houses numerous shops and restaurants. Ferry Building also hosts farmer's market every Tuesday and Saturday.

The Ferry Building is within walking distance from Embarcadero Station and Transbay Terminal, with additional train and bus connection throughout the Bay Area.
