PRONTO ticket machine
Ticket machines sell one way paper tickets and PRONTO cards. Machines are either located at selected bus transit centers, MTS Bus Rapid Transit stops, San Diego Trolley, Coaster, and Sprinter station entrance (especially if the platforms are underground or elevated) or on the platforms. At some stops, ticket machines are located on only one of the two platforms.
PRONTO cards purchased from the machines need to be tagged on a PRONTO reader on platform (before boarding train) or bus (upon boarding) for each ride.
