Portland Aerial Tram is an aerial ropeway line between Marquam Hill and the South Waterfront.


Service information


Service runs from 5:30am to 9:30pm on weekdays, 9am to 5pm on Saturdays. Sunday service is provided in the summer only. Tram cars depart about every 6 minutes (up to 10 minutes during windy conditions).

Fare is $4 round trip (ticket machine at the lower terminal only takes credit/debit cards and quarters coins, no bills and other coins. Children age 6 and under ride free. Tram pass (annual) is available for $100. All TriMet monthly passes, C-Tran monthly express passes, and Portland Streetcar annual passes are honored.

The Aerial Tram connects with the Portland Streetcar North/South Line at the Lower Terminal in South Waterfront, and within walking distance from MAX line's South Waterfront/SW Moody Station.
