Since January 2024, RTD has two fare types for bus and rail: local and airport. Airport fare applies to rail trips that start or end at airport station, as well as SkyRide buses.
Basic fare covers rides and transfers for 3 hours.
MyRide is RTD's electronic fare payment system consisted with cards and an app. You simply tap the card or scan mobile device to the validator while boarding a bus or prior to boarding rail to validate your trip.
School enrollment is required for youth ages 14-19 (middle or high school) to qualify for youth fare. Active US military members ride free on all RTD services.
