Redwood City is a timed transfer point between limited stop trains for some passengers. The timed transfers are shown in green colors on the train schedules. Transferring passengers should stay on the same platform and wait for the next train.

Caltrain ticket machines and 8-ride ticket validators are located on the platforms.

This station features side platforms. Walk across the tracks at either end of the station to get from one platform to another.

All buses stop at the bus plaza except lines 390, KX, PX and RX, which only stop on El Camino.

Station parking is available by the southbound platform at three locations.

Parking requires a $2 daily fee or a Caltrain monthly parking permit. To pay the daily fee, remember the stall number and go to a Caltrain parking pay station on the southbound platform (inside the shelter) or at the underground garage (by stairway).
