There's another station also named "Western" along the Blue Line on the northern side of the line between Downtown and O'Hare.

CTA ticket machines are available at the station entrance on Western Ave, which sell reloadable Ventra card, single-ride, or 1 day ticket. All riders must pass through the turnstile with a valid Ventra card, ticket, contactless bank card, or mobile device with Apple/Samsung/Android Pay.
This station features a center platform in the freeway median.
