Located in the median of Long Beach Blvd north of 1st Street, the 1st Street Station effectively serves as the final stop for the A Line from Pomona North. Here, riders disembark from the Metro Rail and transfer to buses at the Long Beach Transit Gallery.

Metro Rail

This station is served by the Metro A Line to Downtown Long Beach. Ticket machines are available at the platform entrance. First time riders must purchase a reusable TAP card with a fare from the machine before boarding. All riders must "tap" the TAP card or TAP-enabled ticket/transfer at a validator when entering platforms and keep the card or ticket for the duration of the ride.

This station features a ground-level platform, with ramp access from street at 1st Street. All trains head to Downtown Long Beach Station, which will make a brief stop before returning to Downtown LA and Pomona North.
