Belmont Station (CTA Brown, Purple, Red Lines)

This station is a transfer point between 
Red, Purple, and Brown lines.
CTA ticket machines are available at the station concourse on the south side of Belmont Ave, which sell reloadable Ventra card, single-ride, or 1 day ticket. All riders must pass through the turnstile with a valid Ventra card, ticket, contactless bank card, or mobile device with Apple/Samsung/Android Pay. There is another entrance to the platforms without ticket machines on the north side of Belmont Ave, as well as exit only stairs at Fletcher St.
This elevated station features two center platforms. The two inner tracks are used by Red Line trains and the outer tracks are used by Brown and Purple line trains (subject to change due to construction. See advisory). This allows cross platform transfer between local and express service in the same direction.
