Bryn Mawr Station (CTA)
Bryn Mawr Station, served by the
Red Line, originally opened in 1908 as a ground level station named Edgewater. It was elevated during 1910s as part of a track elevation project, with a new station in service in 1921. Name was changed to Bryn Mawr in 1926. The station was renovated in 1974. Starting in 2021, the station was completely reconstructed to modern standards and reopened for service in July 2025.

CTA 'L'
The station entrances are located on the both sides of Bryn Mawr Ave and on the south side of Hollywood Ave. CTA ticket machines are available at the station entrances on north side of Bryn Mawr and on Hollywood, which sell reloadable Ventra card, single-ride, or 1 day ticket. All riders must pass through the turnstile with a valid Ventra card, ticket, contactless bank card, or mobile device with Apple/Samsung/Android Pay. The station features elevators connecting the entrances on the north side of Bryn Mawr and on Hollywood to the platform. The entrance on the south side of Bryn Mawr is farecard-only and has no elevator.
