Cottage Grove Station
Cottage Grove Station is the southern terminus for the
Green Line on the East 63rd branch. The station originally opened in 1893, with additional stations extending to Jackson Park. Structural deficiencies caused the branch to shut down in 1982. A portion of the line was later restored, and renovations in the 1990s made Cottage Grove the terminus, with the line beyond the station being demolished.
