About the route

Opened in 2022, Metro Rail K Line is the newest Metro Rail line serving Hyde Park in Los Angeles and the cities of Inglewood, El Segundo, and Redondo Beach.

K line trains run every 10 minutes on weekdays, every 20 minutes weekends, and every 20 minutes during early morning and nights. This line uses Proof of payment fare system with validated TAP cards. Many stations have faregates that require a TAP card to open.

At Expo/Crenshaw Station, it connects with Metro E Line to East LA and Santa Monica. At Aviation/Century Station, it connects with Metro C Line to Norwalk.
