About the route
Route 4 offers frequent local bus service between Downtown LA and Downtown Santa Monica via W Sunset Boulevard (between Downtown LA and Sunset Junction/Santa Monica blvd) and Santa Monica Boulevard (from Sunset Junction). It serves LA Chinatown, Dodger Stadium, Echo Park, Silver Lake, LA City College, West Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, and Century City. During the daytime, every other trip does not serve areas west of Santa Monica and Westwood. The bus also provides limited stop service west of Santa Monica and Westwood, as Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus 1 offers local service on the same street.
