Route 117 offers north-south service along the San Mateo County coast between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay, serving communities in between. In Pacifica, connections are available to other routes serving Daly City and BART. The bus passes through the Tom Lantos Tunnel and stops at the south parking lot of the Devil's Slide Trail.
