St. James Station is one of three stations in the Downtown San Jose transit mall. All northbound transit traffic run on 1st St and all southbound traffic run on 2nd St.

VTA Light Rail
Ticket machines are available at the north and south ends of each platform. A Clipper Card reader is located on the front end of each platform. Buy ticket or tag card before boarding.
This station features platforms on both 1st (northbound trains) and 2nd streets (southbound trains). A mid-block walkway through the park connects both platforms.
