Ferry Building is a historic landmark for being the main gateway to San Francisco before opening of the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge. Ferry Building continues to be a major transit center with ferry service to the East Bay and the North Bay. Today, the renovated facility houses numerous shops and restaurants.
Ferry Building also hosts farmer's market every Tuesday and Saturday.
The Ferry Building is within walking distance from Embarcadero Station and Transbay Terminal, with additional train and bus connection throughout the Bay Area.

Golden Gate Ferry
Ticket booth and docks for Golden Gate Ferry is located directly on the other side of the Ferry Building. From the street, walk through or around the Ferry building.
Alameda/Oakland Ferry
The docks for Alameda/Oakland Ferry are located south of the building at Gate E.
Alameda Harbor Bay Ferry
Vallejo Baylink
The docks for Vallejo Baylink are located north of the building at Gate B.
Vallejo Baylink 200 bus stops on The Embarcadero by the north side of the Ferry Building.
Blue and Gold Fleet
The docks for Tiburon Ferry are located north of the building at Gate B.
Amtrak Thruway
Amtrak Station code: SFC
Terminal for Amtrak Thruway is located south of the Ferry Building. The terminal features full service ticket counters, QuikTrak machines and an enclosed waiting area. Check baggage service (for long distance trains) is available at this location as well.
Board connecting buses on the Embarcadero to Oakland Jack London Square Station or Emeryville Station.
