Union Pacific Northwest is a Metra line from Harvard and McHenry to Chicago.

Timetables

Service runs all-day, 7 days a week. Express service is available during peak hours in peak direction. Service from McHenry is available during weekday peak hours only.

It runs on a three track corridor from Palatine to Clybourn. Inbound trains normally operate on the east track (traffic move to the left as supposed to the right like roads). Express trains use the center track and load riders on platforms serving the center track (see schedule for details).

Train number with even numbers indicate inbound trains to Chicago, and odd numbers indicate outbound trains.
