NCTD fares
NCTD fares can be paid with cash, Compass cards, or Compass Cloud đ± app.
Coaster has separate (zone based) fares. Most Breeze and Sprinter tickets are not valid on Coaster except providing a $2 discount.

Students enrolled in colleges in the NCTD service areas are eligible for discounted Breeze/Sprinter monthly passes. Sprinter trains use proof of payment system, which all riders must have a valid ticket before boarding the train.
Coaster
Coaster fares are charged according to zone traveled. Coaster trains also use proof of payment system.
