Looks like a bus, rides like a train. The Utah Valley Express (UVX) travels in exclusive lanes and stop lights change to green when buses approach stops. Stops are more like light rail stations with elevated platforms, next bus displays and sheltered waiting areas. Future improvements will also include ticket vending machines. Unique New Flyer articulated buses will operate on this route. Each bus has doors on both sides similar to a light rail car.

During weekdays, buses will operate every 30-15 minutes during early morning hours, six minutes during the rush hour, 10 minutes during midday and early evening hours, 15 minutes late night, and hourly owl service. On weekends, buses will operate every 15 minutes throughout the day and evening hours. Buses will operate Monday through Saturday. Buses will leave the end of the line at the scheduled time and operate through the route as quickly as possible.

Fares will be free exclusively for this route. Fares will still be required to transfer to other bus and flex routes and FrontRunner.
