CTA 'L'

This station is served by Blue Line under Dearorn Street and Red Line under State Street.

CTA ticket machines are available at the station concourses under Dearborn and State, which sell reloadable Ventra card, single-ride, or 1 day ticket. All riders must pass through the turnstile with a valid Ventra card, ticket, contactless bank card, or mobile device with Apple/Samsung/Android Pay.

This is a transfer point between Blue and Red lines as well as to the elevated Loop lines. There's a direct underground walkway (not wheelchair accessible) between the Blue and Red platforms. To transfer to the Loop trains, exit the station and walk half a block to Harold Washington Library Station. Transfer is free for riders with Ventra card. ADA riders transferring between the Blue and Red lines can exit the system and use the accessible tunnel (between Monroe and Jackson streets) connecting the Blue and Red line concourses.

This underground station features a center platform for each line. This station is a part downtown subway that features a continuous platform that stretches all the way to Washington Street on the Blue Line and Lake Street on the Red Line.
