LaSalle Street Station is the Chicago terminus for Metra trains on the Rock Island line. It is one of four Metra terminals in the Chicago Loop area. The others are Chicago Union Station, Chicago Millennium Station, and Ogilvie Transportation Center, which are within a 15-20 minute walking distance.

This station is served by RI Rock Island line.
The station can be accessed from the 440 South LaSalle tower (on Financial Place and on LaSalle St) and street entrance at the southeast corner of Congress Parkway and Financial Place. The LaSalle St and Congress/Fincnaicl Place entrances are wheelchair accessible.
Ticket counters and waiting room are located at the north end of the train platforms. Tickets can be purchased at the station, online, or through the Ventra mobile app.
The platforms are one level above the streets. There are 8 tracks at the station. Tracks are numbered from 1 to 8 from east to west. Signs at the platform entrance show the train number, departure time, and list of stops.
