Paying the fare

Ticket machines for BART and fare gates are located inside the station concourse.

Adult Muni Fast Pass is accepted for trips anywhere between this station and Embarcadero Station. Just insert the Fast Pass into the fare gate when entering and exiting the platform.

• To Berkeley and Richmond:
  • Take   Richmond trains for direct service (Weekday and Saturday daytime only)
  • Take   Pittsburg/Bay Point trains and transfer to   Richmond trains at 12th Street/Oakland City Center Station. (Anytime)

Transfer station

Balboa Park is the designated transfer point between the line serving San Francisco Airport/Millbrae and other East Bay lines. Passengers riding in either direction should wait on the same platform for next trains.
