Castro Station is the main transit hub for The Castro neighborhood in San Francisco.

Muni Metro

Muni Metro opens until about 1:00am.

Pay cash fare at the Muni faregates on the concourse level. Faregates only take coins. Bill to coin changers are available at the station. Take the transfer from the faregate and keep it as proof of payment. If you have a valid pass or transfer, enter at the faregate next to the attendent and show your pass or transfer.

The underground station features side platforms. See sign for destination before heading to the platform.

Outbound platform: K M to Balboa Park, L to SF Zoo
Downtown platform: L M to Embarcadero, T to Sunnydale
