The toll plaza is located at the south end of the bridge where visitors can view and access the bridge on foot.
Buses that run on the bridge stop just south of the toll booths. Buses and shuttles that don't cross the bridge serve the visitor center stop by the parking lot.

From Downtown San Francisco
For visitors to the bridge coming from Downtown San Francisco, Union Square, or North Beach area, take Muni bus 30 to Van Ness Ave & North Point and transfer to the 28 bus toward Daly City. Free ride is also available from downtown on the PresidiGo shuttle (Take Downtown Shuttle to Presidio Transit Center and transfer to the Crissy Field Shuttle).
Direct Muni service 76X from downtown runs on weekends only.
Golden Gate Transit provides direct bus service from Downtown SF to the toll plaza (and over the bridge to North Bay), but does not accept Muni transfers or passes. Basic routes 101130150 provide all day service on weekdays and weekends via Van Ness Avenue, SF Civic Center, Mission Street. Commute routes run mostly during weekday peak hours.

All Golden Gate Transit buses through the bridge stop at the toll plaza, along with Muni 76X that runs on weekends.
Bus - parking lot level
Muni and PresidiGo bus stops are located on the roadway that passes under the toll plaza, located next to the visitor parking lot.
