Adams/Wabash Station is an original Loop Elevated station first built in the 1890s. No major renovations have taken place at this stop, so it lacks ADA accessible features.

CTA 'L'

The entrances to the station from the street are stairs located at each corner of Adams and Wabash intersection. CTA ticket machines available at the station mezzanine, above the street and below the platforms. They sell reloadable Ventra card, single-ride, or 1 day ticket. All riders must pass through the turnstile at the mezzanine with a valid Ventra card, ticket, contactless bank card, or mobile device with Apple/Samsung/Android Pay. This elevated station features side platforms. Riders can cross between platforms using walkways over the tracks.

At this station, Pink, Orange, and Purple lines provide clockwise service in the Loop, using only the inner track (southbound platform). The Brown Line offers counter-clockwise service, stopping only on the outer track (northbound platform). The Green Line serves both platforms.
