4th & King Station is the terminal for Caltrain in San Francisco. Caltrain passengers can transfer to Muni to downtown and other parts of San Francisco.

The Caltrain station itself features Subway Sandwich, a cafe, a flower stand, and a shoe-shining service. Safeway and Walgreens are located across the street from the station. Restrooms are available inside the main station building

Caltrain ticket machines, 8-ride ticket validators, and Clipper Card readers are located on the station concourse. This station also has a ticket counter on weekday mornings. Purchase or validate ticket before boarding. This station has 11 tracks. See signs on top of the doors to the platform for the departure time.

After Giants games and other special events, conductors will check all passengers for valid ticket at the doors to the platform.
