Metro Rail C Line (formerly Green Line) operates mostly on the median of Interstate-105 between Norwalk and El Segundo. It is a suburb-to-suburb light rail line.

Green line trains run every 7-8 minutes during weekday peak hours, every 15 minutes midday, and every 20 minutes from about 8pm to around midnight. Service is extended to about 2am on Friday and Saturday nights. Weekend daytime service runs about every 15 minutes. This line uses Proof of payment fare system.

At Aviation/LAX Station, connection to LAX is available via a free shuttle. At Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station, the Green Line connects with Metro A Line to Long Beach and Downtown LA. At Harbor Freeway Station, it connects with Metro's Silver Line and other buses on the busway.
